Full details of the terms and conditions of hire are shown on the reverse side of the Ace Rental Agreement and should be read carefully.
Rates include maintenance, oil, insurance, Rescue & Recovery. Rates do not include fuel.
British drivers must produce their full current British Driving Licence. Visitors from overseas are similarly required to produce a valid domestic Driving Licence or an International Driving Permit. A current and suitable licence must have been held for at least two years. Drivers must have a clean insurance record and normally be between the ages of 23 and 75. Endorsements may be accepted at the discretion of ACE. No person other than the hirer or other driver approved in writing by the Company is allowed to drive the vehicle.
A deposit will be required before the commencement of the hire and will be quoted by the hiring location on application. The deposit will be based on the cost of the hire depending on the type of vehicle required, delivery and collection charges.
LIMITS OF TRAVEL
For insurance purposes the vehicle must not be taken outside the United Kingdom mainland unless arranged with ACE CAR HIRE.
Rental rates include insurance which provides indemnity to all approved drivers against claims by third parties (including passengers), fire, theft, and accidental damage. Collision damage waiver covers the hirer for insurance excess over the deposit paid.
In the case of an accident or breakdown, the liability of ACE CAR HIRE will be limited to the refund of the hire charges only.
DAMAGE TO FITMENTS
Damage to seats, mirrors, interior fitments, radio equipment will be charged at replacement cost.
Vehicles returned excessively dirty will incur a cleaning charge.
Can be made by telephone, or in person. A booking deposit of one days rental must be paid before a reservation can be confirmed. No refunds allowed unless 21 days notice given on mini buses and 7 days on cars and vans.
All charges and deposits are payable before hire commences. Cheques are not acceptable unless five working days are allowed for clearance. MastercardNisa and most Debit cards accepted.
Vehicles must be returned by the agreed time and date, as stated on your rental agreement. The hirers liabilities remain until the vehicle has been examined during office daylight hours. No responsibility will be accepted for vehicles returned out of office hours.
EXTENSION OF RENTAL PERIOD
If you wish to extend the rental beyond the agreed return date you MUST advise this office and make the required pre-payment. Failure to do so may mean that the hirer is driving without insurance cover.
HOURS OF BUSINESS
Rentals commence and finish during the normal hours of business only and vehicles must be collected and returned during these hours unless other arrangements are made beforehand.
The right is reserved to vary the Rates, Conditions and Periods of Rental at any time and to refuse a rental to any person without giving a reason.
All our vehicles are non smoking, any evidence will result in a £100 charge for full valet.
